We respect the privacy of individuals and are committed to protecting and managing the Personal Data we collect in accordance with this Privacy Policy, relevant data protection legislation, our contracts, and our stakeholders’ expectations. 

Introduction

For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, “Personal Data” means any information, including an opinion (whether true or not), about an individual whose identity is identified or can reasonably be identified. Examples of Personal Data include: names, home addresses, email addresses, reference reports, photos and video images, and telephone numbers or other individual contact information.

References in this Privacy Policy to “Pure Partners”, “we”, “us”, and “our” are references to the Pure Partners entity responsible for the processing of your Personal Data, which generally is the Pure Partners entity that collects your Personal Data.

This Privacy Policy provides information on the types of Personal Data we obtain, how we may use that Personal Data, how we may share it and your rights regarding our processing of that Personal Data. In addition, this Privacy Policy also outlines the measures we take to protect the Personal Data we obtain.

Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to all Personal Data obtained by Pure Partners. However, it does not apply to Personal Data:

  • of other entities outside of our control:
  • an individual provides to Pure Partners in connection with the Pure Partners’ recruitment process.
  • processed on behalf of our customers/end-users when providing technical support and other professional services under an executed agreement to provide Pure Partners products and services addressed in the Pure Partners Data Processing Addendum.

2. Information provided to Pure Partners

In providing Pure Partners’ products and services, we collect and manage a range of data from different sources, including Personal Data about: our clients’ employees, contractors or agents; our distributors’ employees, contractors or agents; our suppliers’ employees, contractors or agents; other end users of our products and services; potential investors for marketing purposes; individuals, through digital services, such as social media or newsletters; and individuals that interact with us or our employees, such as by visiting our premises or phoning our staff.

2.1 Pure Partners CRM 

Pure Partners collects personally identifiable information, such as your email address, name, work address and work phone number. This information is either entered by you when setting up your account or is collected when working together with Pure Partners. To become a customer or reseller of Pure Partners, we must set up an account and provide us with certain information such as name, address, phone number, email address, company name, company website, company financial information, and payment information. 

2.2 Pure Partners Website

We may also collect personal data from our website in the event you use the interactive features of the website, such as accessing a white paper, commenting on a blog post, or participating in surveys, contests, or promotions. If you apply for a position with Pure Partners through a job posting on our website, we will collect personal data about you such as your name, resume, phone number, and email address. If you comment on articles or blog posts, we may also collect certain personal data about you that you include in your comment. We and our authorized service providers may also collect information using cookies and other information-gathering technologies for a variety of reasons. 

If you contact us through the Pure Partner’ website via the “Contact Us” page (e.g. requesting a demo, sales inquiry, etc.), you are providing your consent for us to use your information for the purpose that you contacted us and share it with certain our partners and service providers so that we can properly respond to your inquiry.

The Pure Partner website may also use web beacons, tags, and scripts or use them in email or other electronic communications we send to you. These assist us in sending cookies and counting visits to our website while helping us understand usage and the effectiveness of various campaigns and promotions. Furthermore, we may receive and develop reports based on the use of these technologies by our third-party service providers on an individual and aggregated basis.

2.3 Pure Partners Social Media Widgets and Google Analytics

Pure Partners website includes social media features such as the LinkedIn “Like” and “Share” buttons as well as mini-programs that run on our website. These features may collect your internet protocol address (IP address), and which webpage you are visiting, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. The use of such features is governed by the privacy policies of the feature owner.

2.4 How we use AI tools

We sometimes use AI tools, like ChatGPT, to help us learn more about companies and professionals who might be interested in our products and services. This only involves professional, business-related information that is publicly available, such as job titles, company names, or work contact details. We use this information to better understand potential customers and to reach out in a relevant way. We don’t make decisions based only on AI, and we don’t use AI tools to evaluate you personally.

3. Use of personal information

3.1  Customer data

If you are a customer of Pure Partners, we use your personal data to provide, maintain, improve, and promote our Products and Solutions. We may also use personal data to enable authorized Customers to access our portal and platforms, and to send Customers transactional messages to respond to comments, questions, and requests or to distribute important Customer information.

3.2 Communication and support

We also use your personal data to provide customer service and support. Such support may include technical notices, updates, security alerts, and administrative messages. Where permitted by applicable law, we, our resellers, or partners may also send you promotional communications from time to time to inform you of products, services, features, surveys, newsletters, offers, promotions, contests, and events. Information and news about our partners may also be communicated from time to time.

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting us at: info@purepartners.co or following the unsubscribe or opt-out instructions included in our marketing communications.

If you applied for a job position through our website, we may provide your data to a third-party service provider to assist us in managing your application. The job application data you provided to us may also be used or accessed from any of Pure Partners’ locations depending on the nature of the position.

Additionally, we use the information to monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our website and Customer accounts in order to investigate and prevent fraudulent transactions, unauthorized access to the Pure Partners Solution, and other illegal activities. We may also use personal data for any other purpose for which we have obtained your consent or where permitted or required by applicable law.

3.3 Data services

We integrate customer data and Pure Partners products and aggregate through our portal and AWS services. We enhance, improve, or modify our products and services, including data science and research. Aggregated data sets made available by Pure Partners do not contain personal data and cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual. Information processed is carried out on servers located in the European Economic Area (EEA).

3.4 Sharing data with third-party service providers

Pure Partners may share information, including personal data, with our third-party service providers that we engage for providing hosting, for maintenance of our websites, applications, backup, storage, payment processing, analytics, and other services. We do not allow our service providers with whom we share personal data to use that information for marketing or any other purpose other than in connection with the services they provide to Pure Partners.

3.5 Collection of Defaulted Payments

In the event of any unpaid return payment or rejected or denied credit card transaction, Pure Partners B.V. or its service providers reserve the right to impose any related charges. The Customer shall reimburse Supplier for all reasonable costs of collection, including legal fees, in the event of default.

4. List of subprocessors

In order to provide its services, Pure Partners may engage third parties to carry out data-processing activities that involve access to customer data. These organizations, called “subprocessors,” are identified below with their locations and the types of services they provide to Pure Partners.

4.1 Complying with the law and law enforcement request

In some circumstances, we may receive a request from public authorities to disclose personal data in response to a legally binding request to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. As applicable, we may disclose personal data to comply with subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to enforce our legal rights and defend against legal claims. In some cases, we may also share personal data if we believe that illegal or fraudulent activity is or has taken place so that we can investigate, prevent, and take appropriate action regarding such activities that may pose a potential threat to the physical safety of any person, violations of our Customer agreements, or to comply with the law. If your personal data becomes subject to a legal disclosure requirement and we are permitted to do so, we will attempt to notify you of said disclosure, if we have current contact information on file.

4.2 Success stories

From time to time, we may post success stories on our website or in other publicly distributed material that contains personal data. In such cases, we obtain your written consent before posting your name or other personal data with the success story. 4.3 Sharing with consent

We may also share information with third parties when you have provided us with your consent to do so.

5. Security of your personal information

We secure the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. We maintain appropriate administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect your Personal Data against accidental, unlawful or unauthorised destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure or use, consistent with this policy and relevant data protection legislation.

6. International transfer of data

Pure Partners stores data about website visitors, Customers, and resellers on cloud servers located in North America and Europe. We may also store data on cloud servers located in other countries from time to time. Pure Partners operates on a global scale and we may transfer and access such personal data from various parts of the world, including from other countries where Pure Partners has Customers, Resellers and operations. Pure Partner stores European Customer data on servers located within the EEA and North American Customer data on servers within North America. However, data (including personal data) may be transferred across national boundaries for load balancing, availability, or other reasons. We have entered into the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with our cloud service provider to comply with the most stringent privacy laws.

7. Retention of personal data

Pure Partners will retain your personal data for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes for which the data was provided. Pure Partners will delete or anonymize your personal data when we no longer have a legitimate business need for it or in compliance with applicable law. If it is no longer possible to delete it because, for example, it has been backed up in archives, then we will securely store the personal data and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.

For personal data that we process on behalf of resellers and Customers’ users, we will retain such personal data in accordance with the instructions provided to us in the terms of our agreement with them, subject to applicable laws.

8. Cookies

We use cookies across our websites to help enhance user experience, help make visits to our sites more effective and to collect industry-standard web statistics. Cookies are small data files which are sent from a web server to a web browser, and, depending on the type of cookie being used, either expire at the end of a browsing session or are stored until a set date.

 Individuals can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. Please note, however, that restricting the use of cookies may impact the functionality of our websites, particularly those that are designed to enable you to access a service. The three types of Cookies that we employ are: 1) essential (necessary to use the websites); 2) analytics (to help us understand how people use our websites); and 3) preference (to help us remember your language/ region choices).

We may provide links to other third-party websites which are outside of our control, individuals should review the privacy policies posted on the websites they visit.

9. Correcting, removing or updating data

If you reside in the EEA or certain other jurisdictions, you have the right to exercise additional rights available to you under the local law that applies to you:

  • Right of erasure: you may have a broader right to have personal data that we hold about you erased or deleted.
  • Right to object to processing: you may have the right to request that Pure Partners stop processing your personal data.
  • Right to restrict processing: you may have the right to request that Pure Partners limit the processing of your personal data in some circumstances (e.g. where you believe that the personal data we hold about you is inaccurate or was obtained unlawfully).
  • Right to data portability: in some limited circumstances, you may have the right to receive a copy of your data in machine readable, commonly used format and to request that we transfer personal data to another controller.

10. Updates to this policy

Pure Partners reserve the right to change this policy from time to time. Any changes to this policy will become effective when we post the revised policy on our website.
